  1. So we realize that ever since the blogs were deleted, we no longer have a system intro. A few things have also changed with us since then, so we made a new one! This is for anybody that doesn't know us well, really, but feel free to take a gander if you know us, and ask any questions that come to mind.

    General Info:
Our system doesn't have a name as of yet (though we should probably come up with one at some point). We consist of 4 members; Jake, [Farkas], <Atreyu>, and {Kadreal}. We're a spiritual system (if you'd like us to go into our beliefs of our plurality, don't be afraid to ask) consisting of 2 otherkin, 1 therian and 1 human. The physical body is 17 years old (as of 1/4/17). We're an entirely open book, and will answer any questions as honestly as we can. Oh, and we're also brutally honest :3

Hey hey, I'm the regular ol' human of the system. I'm the host (the original being in the body), and there's not a whole lot to know about me. I play games on a daily basis (preparing to livestream soon), and I enjoy technology. I've worked with PCs for 7 years now, so if you've got any questions about 'em, ask away! I enjoy modern electronic music, but will listen to a fair amount. I use he/him pronouns, but they/them works if you don't remember.

Heya, my name is Farkas and I'm the 14' tall wolf guy of the system, and I'm a median with Jake. When I say 14' tall wolf guy, I mean something along the lines of Keidran (from the webcomic TwoKinds). If you don't know what that is, think werewolf. It's similar enough. I'm essentially an anthro wolf. It's more complicated than that, but that's the basic idea. Jake's likes are the same as mine I use he/him pronouns, but don't really care either way.

Hello, my name is Atreyu and I am a Canadian lynx. Not much to know about me. I do not talk very often, as I do not see much of a need to speak with people. If I am called upon, I will talk. Otherwise, do not expect to see very much of me. They tell me to list what kind of music I enjoy, as well as some hobbies, but I will only be listing music. I do not front often, so I do not have many hobbies. I prefer what the others refer to as "oldies." Anything pre-1990s. I use they/them pronouns.

Ahoy, lad! M'name's Kadreal, and I'm a shapeshifter! While I can be anything I'd like, I prefer the form of what the lads call an "anthro 'white mark' american red fox with 2 tails." Quite the title, eh? I very much enjoy listening to "classical" music, Baroque-era mostly, with what I think are called harpsichords and organs? They're telling me that's right! Just as Atreyu, I don't front very often, but I will drop in to say ahoy every once in a while! Any pronouns work for me, but everybody seems to prefer he/him.

  2. I'm putting this in a blog because I don't know where else to put it. In light of recent events (specifically what's happening in DYT today) and all the fire you guys are being put under...
    THANK YOU!!!
You guys may not hear it enough, but thank you! Don't listen to those other guys, they just want to complain because things are changing. I want you to know that you are all VERY appreciated, and that much of Kinmunity thanks you for all the hard work and time you put into maintaining this site. If it weren't for you guys, this site wouldn't be here, and hell, maybe even I wouldn't be here. So from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all.
It's because of the hard work you put into this site that so many people join and make new friends. I can speak from experience here, I've made so many friends over the time I've been here; People I wouldn't have met otherwise. Without this place, I wouldn't be who I am today, and I'm sure many of you can say the same. And there's 3 I want to thank specifically.
@kiror From what I know, you're the main developer for the site (correct me if I'm wrong here bud), and you've done some amazing things. You created so many awesome functionalities that this site didn't have, and may not have had without you. You helped turn this site into the wonderful place it is now, and I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say thank you for all the time you put into the site. Seriously. I dunno about everyone else, but I know that you put so much of your own time into this site, you lose sleep over it. So truly, you're amazing.
@Vyktoria You know how much I care about you. You're family to me, and friend to many other users. You help keep the chatroom clean and welcoming for all. You may not know it or feel like it, but everybody loves you. You're fun to be around, and you brighten up everyone's day when you join chat. Thank you for being you, and don't stop being you anytime soon, friend.
@Shiro You created the freaking site! And I have you to thank for who I am today because of it. Without this site, I have no idea what I would be doing on the internet. You created a home for myself, and for many other therians and kin. I don't think I've ever thanked you for creating the wonderful environment this website contains, and it may be a little late (maybe a year and a half), but this is my thank you.
To all the other staff: You may not get a special note, but that doesn't mean you're not appreciated as much as they are. You all work hard to make this place the way it is, you all work to keep everybody and everything in line, and nobody seems to thank you guys for it, but you deserve all the thanks in the world. All of you. Keep up the good work you guys, we all appreciate what you've done

EDIT: Oh! And share this with all the staff you know to make sure they know how much they're appreciated!
  3. So, I didn't know where to put this, so I figured I would make it a blog. I need some advice and thoughts and whatnot on something that's been going on with me lately.
So, a month and a half ago or so, I started getting these really weird headaches. They were at my temples, and they were less of a headache and more like pressure; as if something was trying to push its way out from inside my head (at least, that's the best description I can think of). Extremely painful, even for someone with super high pain tolerance like me (I can break bones and not have a care about it. Hell, I laugh when I break bones). They didn't last too long, only a few minutes each at most, and they lasted about a week. Once they subsided, I suddenly started having blackouts. I would do something, and suddenly not remember what I did or said. The blackouts ranged from a time period of a few seconds to a few hours; periods of time where I don't recall anything. Most of them were only a few minutes of lost memory, like I would do something to my friend, then he would do something back in return a few minutes later. I would be confused as to why they would do that, not being able to recall just moments before.
An example, in one of my classes, I walked up and jabbed him in his side (something we do jokingly at each other, considering it makes you look like an idiot when you curl up from it). In response, he grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me back. Literally seconds after doing an action, I completely forgot I did it. I was utterly confused as to why he did that.
Now, that's only a minor example of a few seconds of memory lost, but there have been plenty of times where I've forgotten hours of my day. I only used that as an example because it's the only one I can explain, seeing as he told me what I forgot.

And so I make this blog to ask for other people's thoughts on the matter, and possibly even some advice. I have no idea what this is, I have no idea what causes it, and I don't like it. I dunno whether those headaches I mentioned at the start are relevant, but I figured I would mention them. So if anyone has anything for me, please let me know. I may see a doctor about it, but I dunno, since it hasn't posed much of a problem yet, only a nuisance.
