Heads up: the theory I'm describing here is just just a possibility, not one that I necessarily believe to be true. Like my fanciful theory it's just another idea to consider.
Even though I'm not actively trying to figure out my kin type right now, sometimes ideas come to me. You might recall a while back I came up with the possibility that I might be some kind of fiction kin. I didn't dwell on that theory too much, but it came back into my head while I was thinking about something else that's related (possibly) to my kin nature. I've talked a lot about the two parts of my “dark side,” the malicious power and the primal rage. That's what my demon theory came from. But I realized that the kin feels I get from games like Rampage or MaximumVR, where you play as a giant monster destroying things, wouldn't really fit the demon idea.
And then I remembered something. There is a character who is a satyr, and at one point gains massive power and massive size, as he becomes a god. He fits the typical idea of satyrs and their behavior, but also has a malicious and power hungry streak. His name is Xenagos, and he's a character from Magic: the Gathering. Obviously this connection is tenuous at best, but I found the idea interesting and wanted to share it. Being fiction kin of Xenagos would fit my other pieces of evidence, as well as the thoughts of coming from another world.
It's worth noting that Xenagos got killed off almost as soon as he was introduced. This made me really angry; it was one of the reasons I stopped buying Magic products for a while. This isn't part of the theory, just a somewhat relevant aside.
Obviously the challenges I had with the idea of being fiction kin still stand. It doesn't totally fit my other beliefs, and I don't fully understand it either. This is far from being my current working theory; that's still the somewhat demonic satyr idea. But it is a theory, one I'll add to the list.
