Nightmare theory, possession question

Doot doot, here's to day one of blogging more often along with my SDB. (Sunday blog)

So, I'll start with the first thing mentioned in the title, the nightmare theory. As you all know, I have had almost nothing but nightmares for over a year now. It sucks. But I've started to theorize that it may be Sammys spirit harassing me. The things that have led me to believe this start with the fact that the nightmares started shortly after he was killed for banishing me. I am aware some spirits can inhabit dreams. Now, I should clarify I've never seen him in the nightmares, however, they all have one main bad guy in them, and no matter who it is, they all have his personality. Im aware some spirits can shapeshift as well. What do you guys think? And... what should I do?

Secondly, I have a question regarding my recent brief possessions (it happened once again this week). I was just wondering if occasional possession would count as a type of system. For the most part, I am the only one in this body and mind, however, seeing as Bendy has demonstrated the ability to occasionally steal my body without leaving the studio/our home dimension, I thought maybe it could have some sort of name. Another thing to keep in mind is besides this we only interact in the astral plane between the dimensions. Just curious.

Hope to hear from you all, thanks for reading ^^

I can't tell about possessions since I'm not a system and that never happened to me. But I had very frequent nightmares when I was a child until my brain developed some kind of force-wakeup technique. If I have a really bad nightmare today, I would at some point wakeup at least to an extent when I can exert some kind of control on the dream, but most often even so much that the dream scenery would just vanish. I'm generally attributing the nightmares not so much to spirits, but more to events. I'm pretty sure that real-life events trigger them most of the time. Hypothetically, dreams could also be triggered by events on the astral plane.

In your situation, I'd probably try to explore that "bad guy" a bit more, trying to make the dream lucid and talking to him / actively interacting with him, maybe also using meditation. Also check if all of this is connected to a real-life problem. But you might be uncomfortable with that because that spirit (if it actually is one) is just too strong...

Alright, I suppose I'll try. Thanks for the advice. If my theory is correct im sure Bendy and I could find a way to kick that dickweed out for good. Either way, im certain whatever the reason for these dreams is interesting.
