  1. Test your vocabulary!

http://testyourvocab.com/result?user=8821590 Mine sits at around 33,900. Was rather impressed with some of the words they threw in there!
  2. Anyone else also a Furry?

I am! I found the furry community through researching dragonkin a looooong time ago. I'm not super active, and can't draw to save my life but I putz around the forums on occasion. ^^ I also really like all the artwork that people do in the community.
  3. Favorite game console

N64. I can STILL play Turok, Road Rash, Tetrisphere, and Blast Corps for hooooours. ^^
  4. Best video games for console

Oooh, favorites. Hard to pick, but I would have to say.....Borderlands series, Turok series, Timeplitters series, and Megaman X series. All are fantastic. And I realize I play way too many shooters. XD
  5. Sandbox Games?

I usually have good interest in many sandbox games. Terraria is very fun, solo or with people. The story aspect of it is wonderful, and keeps me going. Minecraft I liked, but only solo, because it's so versatile with what you can do. Starbound is Terraria on steroids, it's amazingly complex, and extremely fun with or without people. Ark is brilliantly done, and I still play it with or without my brothers, as there's nothing quite like surviving dinosaurs. Then there's Garrys Mod. Oh, Gmod, how many hours of my life have you stolen away from me? Whether it's making antlions play soccer, or the "crash room", or playing battleship. Also, Kebal Space Program. Who doesn't like building hideously complex spaceships and trying to get them to fly? I sure do! And hitting the Mun is A LOT harder than it looks. Anyway, game rant over. XD I wish I could play on ps3 with you, but I don't have those for ps3, only pc.
  6. Shielding and grounding techniques

I have not had to "shield" in quite some time. Although, I have an odd way of doing so, I feel. Basically, a shield for me consists of cranking my energy output to maximum so it drowns out anything else. An odd, tingly, crackling in my chest and the base of my head, reminiscent of adrenaline, but with control. Blast that out in all directions, protected from whatever force needs protecting from. Only downside is it doesn't last very long before I wear out. Should practice it more often, come to think of it. Get it back up to where it used to be. Another form I use is to condense the "explosion" into scales or armor, and carry it with. This lasts much longer, but is not as......strong? Don't know if that's the right word. This is the method I use most often, as it takes little focus once it's up and going, and is all around general purpose for me. Also, for feeling protected, I usually try to focus some of the energy into claws. As for grounding negative energies within myself, I dump them into random objects I know most people won't touch. Rocks are a favorite of mine, grab a rock, dump some negativity into it, throw it somewhere no one will find it. I try to be considerate about the objects I dump energy into. Karma and all that. Rarely will I just dump it into the ground, as I don't know if people can pick up on it, and if they do, I would feel terrible about giving that to someone. As for grounding my being? Just being alive. Hanging out. Playing games. Holding a controller. Also meditating, because that brings me back in touch with my own sense of self. Just the fact that I can sit and breathe and be is grounding to me.
  7. Words that are stuck in your head

Oh, too many words and phrases get stuck in my head. As of right now: "Gruntled" "Forward" "Ambivalence" "Destruction" And "Tired". Huh. Now that those are all listed out, my head is a slightly terrifying place. Good. I like it that way. ^^
  8. Where is everyone from?

I'm a desert dragon, living in Phoenix, Arizona, in the U.S.
  9. God/s you worship

I don't worship any gods or goddesses, as I don't believe gods can influence my life any more than I can. If I can't do something on my own or with others, it didn't need to be done. If I don't think about my luck in doing said thing, it's decent. Moreso than any God, I worship the random chance. The roll of the dice. The flip of the coin. It has treated me well, and I am grateful. ~Nix
  10. Guilty Pleasures

My "guilty" pleasures (That I'm not really guilty about XD): My Little Pony. One of my favorite things to say. "I'm a brony, deal with it. Dash is my homie." Norwegian Slow TV. This one I'm probably most guilty about since it's weird. Yes. I will watch out the front window of a train or boat or whatever for 8 hours. That sounds lovely. Makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere. In other media: Destiny and No Mans Sky. I like them. They're controversial. I'm glad they exist, and have had lots of fun. XD ~Nix
  11. I'm not...

I'm dragonkin, but I'm not fire and brimstone.
