Allow me to explain! It does not have to be implemented by any means necessary, however, I believe it would be fun for artists of all types and levels to participate in a monthly drawing event, with a theme of course!... For example, every month there can be a them for any of the artists of KM to draw, and one of the first themes can be things related to otherkinity, such as one’s own kintype, where one lived in their true life, a scene from a memory, wings, tails, or any concept that can relate to the world itself!... Perhaps there can also be a place in the KM gallery for these art pieces! ^.=.^ Even then however, the art contribution doesn’t need to stop at just fun contests! Artists like myself can put some of our profits from commissions we get, whether they’ve from members of KM or not to the site donation pool! I believe it would be a nice idea, though it does not have to be done if it is not necessary, although of course I would host the themes and the art contest days if no one else wants to! ^.=.^ Tell me your thoughts! ^.=.^
I noticed we have a den for qualified researchers to post studies, but we don’t have any specific den to discuss science related things that are specific to the otherkin community. Perhaps more educational and science talk would help others introspect better and we could make theories to question the realities of our identities. For example, talking about the historical studies of reincarnation and soul departure, animal instinct and behavior, geology of our planet or other worlds, multiverse and astronomical theories, or just environmental science. It does not have to be implemented if it isn’t necessary, however it’s just an idea I thought of. ^.=.^
I don't know if it bothers others but I'm tired of looking through the recent posts just to be swarmed with things from the Fun & Games category. It's like an endless scroll just to see if anyone made a post in Scent Rolling or The Clearing. Yes, I could go through each category and look for recent threads but the ability to know what was posted across the forum (that isn't just from Fun & Games) saves a lot. I miss a handful of new posts from other sections of the forum because of this and it's quite a hassle to try to cycle through all "The last one to comment on this thread wins!" posts just to get to something else. So, is it possible to implement a way to manually block certain sections from appearing when looking through All Activity? I don't see any option on the site that allows me to do so. As much as I like Fun & Games I believe it drowns out the important conversations that get lost in the sea.
Greetings! I noticed that some members may be getting their post count higher by posting in the fun and games thread! (I don’t mean to bash the thread it really is fun and good!). I feel like that goes against how a member should advance on the site and in the community! Posting quality content, art, good advice and teachings, etc are much better ways to create posts then just by playing games. It could always be a simple mistake however, or I could be wrong! Just thought I’d bring it up! ^.=.^
